Analogue Meets Digital in Phonic's New iA231F Equalizers

11.09.2005

Phonic announces the release of the new iA231F and iA231FD digital Equalizers with analogue controls and featuring feedback detection circuitry. With 31-band graphic equalization, the iA231F and iA231FD give users perfect control over ISO standard frequencies at 1/3 octave intervals.

The iA231FD features both analogue and digital inputs and outputs, allowing it to be used in conjunction with many different devices. Digital recording is made simple with the iA231FD’s S/PDIF and AES outputs, with no loss of quality that would typically occur when converting from digital to analogue and back again. Typical analogue XLR and 1/4” inputs have been incorporated in both the iA231F and iA231FD ensuring users can still connect their typical, every-day analogue gear to the unit.

With the simplicity of an analogue equalizer, but with the power and preciseness of digital processing, the iA231F and iA231FD are fantastic additions to any audio rack and will appear on stand F34, at London’s PLASA Show.

Due to retail at £165.96 ex VAT, the iA231F equalizers are available via Shure Distribution UK. For further information call 020 8808 2222, email info@shuredistribution.co.uk or visit www.shuredistribution.co.uk
