Heilbronn, Germany, February 15, 2007 - The fifth Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition is now accepting applications for entry. The competition provides aspiring jazz singers the opportunity to perform before a top-class jury and international audience. In addition, prizes will be awarded to the top finalists.

 

Entries will be accepted through April 15, 2007 from vocalists of all nationalities, born after January 1, 1977. Semi-finalists, selected from among all entries, will compete against each other during this year's Montreux Jazz Festival taking place from July 6 – 21, 2007.Detailed information regarding application requirements can be downloaded from www.montreuxjazz.com.
