Shure Expands Its Operation To Larger UK Headquarters

Relocation for Shure Distribution UK

London UK, 09 September 2007 - Shure Distribution UK (SDUK), a leading distributor of professional audio equipment, today announces their plans for expansion and relocation to larger premises. This relocation is in response to the growth of SDUK and in order to provide added value for the customer and a more efficient service through better links and facilities.

The new offices will cover 28,000 sq ft meeting the demands of the continued growth of SDUK. Double the size of the current office and warehouses, the premises based in Waltham Abbey is perfectly suited to product distribution with ample warehousing, office space and conference suites. The convenient location also allows for better transportation links; being situated near the M25 and therefore permitting more deliveries and an efficient service. Using the enhanced facilities that the new office provides SDUK has investigated ways of restructuring and improving the operations already in place. This includes all operations from despatch and delivery to technical advice, training, product demonstrations and after sales support.

Product demonstration will be offered to customers on site, to showcase all audio equipment including large speaker set-ups such as QSC’s Wideline Array Speaker Systems, in an environment that will provide an authentic product experience.  SDUK will also be introducing ‘training seminars’ in which their customers can receive full technical and product installation training, provided by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable Application Engineers in the industry.

SDUK represents some of the best products available in the field of professional and consumer audio. SDUK will be increasing its multibrand portfolio and projects sales growth in new and varied sales channels over the next five years. The relocation comes at an opportune time for SDUK as the new offices will accommodate and grow as the company expands further in terms of product offerings and sales. The company’s current portfolio includes Shure wired microphones, wireless systems, personal monitoring systems and cartridges, QSC amplification, loudspeakers, audio system routing and control, Radial DI boxes, Sound Devices digital recorders and field mixers plus a wide range of Phonic audio equipment.
Dennis Harburn, managing director of Shure Distribution UK says, “The introduction of new and innovative products from our various suppliers will cater to a wide and diverse range of market channels with opportunities to grow Shure Distribution UK and the new warehouse and offices will ensure that further resources can be accommodated to meet these expectations.”
