Shure ULX-D offers a premium 24-bit/48kHz digital audio quality combined with spectrum-efficient and intelligent RF performance, meeting the needs of demanding Installed Applications.

ULX-D employs the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) for high-security applications, allows for a seamless integration in current media control systems, and utilizes latest rechargeability technology, originating from Axient.

Advanced Rechargeability
  • Adapted from Axient™ intelligent power management technology
  • Lithium-Ion chemistry and intelligent Shure battery circuitry results in rechargeable batteries with zero memory loss effect. The battery can be recharged at any time; a complete discharge is not necessary
  • Provides ULX-D handheld and bodypack transmitters with 12+ hours of performance time
  • Transmitters and receivers display remaining battery life in hours and minutes accurate to within 15 minutes
  • SBC200 Dual Docking Charger recharges batteries while inside or outside transmitters
  • Up to four SBC200s can be linked together to provide docked charging of eight transmitters from one power supply
  • The SBC800 Eight-Bay Charger brings up to eight SB900 batteries to full charge within three hours and 50 % charge in one hour, with charge status LEDs for each battery
  • Backwards compatible with AA batteries
  • Both chargers fit in a standard-size rack drawer for easy transport and storage

High Density Mode
  • Specifically designed for high channel count applications requiring a working range up to 30 meters, the High Density Mode allows operating up to 560 (five hundred sixty) channels in 72 MHz, respectively 63 channels in an 8 MHz TV channel over standard mode at 1mW transmit power.

Audio Summing (Dual and Quad only)

DANTE™ Digital Audio Networking Over Ethernet (Dual and Quad only)
  • Digital audio is carried over standard Ethernet using shielded Cat5e (or higher) cables.
  • Dante™ provides low latency, tight clock synchronization, and high Quality of-Service (QoS) to provide reliable audio transport to a variety of Dante devices.
